PICNIC OF GLASSWORKERS.

Members of Craft Will Enjoy Outing at Riverside Park.

Riverside park at Eaton will be a mecca for Delaware county glass-workers next Saturday, as arrangements are now on foot for a general gathering of the craft prior to the vacation period. An effort will be made to have every glass-worker in the city and county in attendance. The picnic will begin at 10 o'clock in the morning, continuing throughout the day and evening. Plenty of amusement will be provided, including a foot race at 3 o'clock, when an effort will be made to have contestants take the track against Joe Love and William Walters, employed at the Hemingray plant in this city, and who have gained much notice because of their sprinting abilities. Any person desiring to enter the race may do so by communicating with E. B. Hubbard, and a handsome prize will be offered.
