Fifteen minutes after she had arrived from Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Thomas Starr, wife of former sheriff Thomas Starr, of Delaware County, was stricken with heart trouble at the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank Williamson, 1003 East Charles street, and died within a few minutes. Mrs. Starr seemingly was in the best of health upon her arrival here and commented upon her trip and spoke of the pleasure she anticipated in visiting her sister and other Muncie friends. The husband was notified at Los Angeles of his wife's death. Relatives here were uncertain whether the body would be shipped back to Los Angeles or buried here.
