Muncie Responding Liberally to the

Miners' Call for Help.

The miners' relief committee held another meeting last evening in the Commercial Club rooms but is was not well attended. Another meeting will be held Saturday evening at 8 o'clock and Mayor Cromer hopes al the committee will be present. Last evening the four committeemen present reported $126 collected and this amount was forwarded to John B. Conner, at Indianapolis, this morning.

The ball game at Westside park tomorrow afternoon for the benefit of the miners promises to be a great success financially. Hundreds of tickets have been sold. The game will be called at 3 o'clock and an exciting contest is anticipated, the teams being evenly matched. The benefit at Maple Grove Garden this evening will be liberally patronized.
