KENTON COURT

REVERSED

In Byars Case by Court of

Appeals.

The Court of Appeals at Frankfort has reversed the Kenton Circuit Court in the case of Walter M. Byars versus D. C. Hemingray, executor, and held that the estate is liable for taxes on property omitted on Sept. 1, 1916, and listed Sept. 1, 1917, a despatch said Saturday.

The suit, the despatch said, was filed August 31, 1917, just 24 hours before the new tax law would have prevented it.
