SEASON'S FIRST BOWLING PARTY.


Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Dages Entertain

Many Friends.


The bowling party given at Mr. Gray's alleys last evening by Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Dages was an exciting and enjoyable event. It was the first party of its kind in Muncie. Many of the guests were novices at the game but most managed to get creditable scores. Mr. J. Edgar Johnson won first prize, a china tray, one-hundred and sixty one pins being to his credit. Mr. George V. Jennings won second prize for the gentlemen, his score being one hundred and fifty-six. The prize was a china cup and saucer. Mrs. George V. Jennings won the first prize for ladies and Mrs. Ed F. Tyler, second prize, their respective scores being one hundred and nineteen and one hundred and ten. The prizes were china cups and saucers. After the bowling party, refreshments were served in Hammel's dining room. The souvenirs were carnations. The guests were Messrs. and Mesdames J. Edgar Johnson, George V. Jennings, O. B. Bannister, George M. Bard, L. L. Ball, Charles L. Bender, George Bower, D. Volney Bower, W. C. Dickie, James E. Durham, Fred W. Heath, John M. Kirby, W. L. Little, Arthur Meeks, Arthur F. Patterson, Carl A. Spilker, E. F. Tyler, Mesdames Eugene Vatet, Louise Winder, Robert Hemingray, George O. Cromwell, W. M. Marsh, Messrs. Edward Ball, George Spilker, and Robert Walker.
