O-I Building Unit Formed Firm Chartered With Million Capital The American Structural Products Co., which will conduct the building products business of Owens-Illinois Glass Co., was incorporated yesterday in Columbus, with capitalization of $1,000,000, the Associated Press reported. The new company will maintain headquarters in Toledo and will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of O-I., William E. Levis, chairman of the board of the parent company, announced last week. Headed By Bowes
The new company will be headed by Urban E. Bowes, as president. The law firm of Welles, Kelsey, Fuller, Cobourn and Harrington, Ohio Bldg., handled legal details of the incorporation. Also incorporated yesterday was the Fabrow Manufacturing Co., with authority to issue 250 shares of no par value stock. Arthur W. Weber, incorporating attorney, said he was unable to release any information on the company's plans and officers, other than that the firm intends to wholesale building materials. |
