To Be Wednesday

 

Funeral rites for Col. Philip W. McAbee, 68, Muncie industrialist who died unexpectedly at Knoxville, Tenn., Sunday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Meeks mortuary. Former business associates will serve as pallbearers. The Reverend C. Russell Moodey of the Grace Episcopal Church will officiate, with interment following in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday evening or any time before the services Wednesday. Flowers are to be omitted.

Pallbearers for Col. McAbee will be W. P. Zimmerman, M. K. Holmes, C. H. Smith, C. H. Alexander, Robert Pershing, John Maken [sic] Macken, Earl Hiatt, and Harold Eastus.

Col. McAbee was former president of the Hemingray Glass Company, retiring in 1933.
