By an agreement between the manufacturers and the Flint Glass Workers' Association the factories can be operated during the summer months and the men will be compelled to work. This step has heretofore been unknown in the business. As a result the Hemingray Flint glass works will not close down for the usual vacation but will continue to work their 150 hands. This is pleasing to the men.
