· · The following were the final scores of the winners in the National hotel bar contest to determine the most popular glass and iron workers in the city. First prize for most popular glass worker , gold watch; won by James Clabby, votes, 3870. Second prize, Patrick English, box of cigars, votes, 2404. In the iron workers' contest, first prize, a gold watch, was won by James Gundy with 2279 votes; second prize, box of cigars, won by Harry Darrel with 1667 votes. Henry Loebenberg and E. M. Rosenthal acted in the capacity of judges. · ·
