RULLED OFF THE TURF

Kentucky Turfman Is Severely Disciplined

Bullman Is Set Down for

Three Days.

[SPECIAL TO THE RECORD-HERALD.]

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec 2. - Robert Hemingway [sic] Hemingray of the well-known Kentucky family of that name was to-day ruled off the California turf for life and was told to remove his horses from the Ingleside race track.

After a meeting of the executive board of the new California Jockey Club, the order was issued by president Williams. It was brought about through Hemingray's alleged connection with a tragedy in which a woman figured prominently.

Hemingway [sic] Hemingray has been regarded as a fairly clever horseman. Whether he will try to continue racing elsewhere is problematic. He says he does not yet known what he will do.
