PERSONAL COVINGTON · · The annual supper given Thursday evening by the ladies of the First Christian Church was a success. Three hundred enjoyed the delicious menu. There were eight tables beautifully arranged with flowers. Those assisting were: Table 1 - Mrs. L. Adams, Mrs. Threlkeld. Table 2 - Mrs. John Howk, Mrs. John Stephens. Table 3 - Mrs. Hemingray, Miss Edith McLaughlin. Table 4 - Mrs. Tom Ranshaw, Miss Nannie Ranshaw. Table 5 - Mrs. John Dalhelm, Mrs. James Rude. Table 6 - Mrs. David Serena, Mrs. Hickock. Table 7 - Mrs. Penney, Miss Emma Yelton. Table 8 - Mrs. William Edwards, Mrs. Priest. Ice cream, William Newhall, Mrs. John Leathers, Mrs. Olive Gray, cashier; cake, Mrs. A. C. Ellis, Mrs. E. Dwells, waitress, Mesdames Robert Stewart, Snowden, Mauzey and Tattershell, Misses Emma Herdon, Lillie Mitchell, Bertie Jordan, Edna Dalhelm, Blanche Wilson, Bessie Howk.
