Glass Fence Posts.
A few days ago one of the local glass manufacturers received an order from the east for a number of glass fence posts. Of course the company can furnish the glass in the form of posts but they can not guarantee them to wear like cedar or oak posts. The order has created considerable speculation in the factory where it was received. It is presumed that the man wanting them has an idea to put up a fence of a new and novel nature, but of course it is not their business to inquire into the purpose for which the posts are wanted.
