CONDOLING WITH THE BROOKFIELDS.

Commissioner and Mrs. Brookfield denied themselves to many friends who called this morning at the Windsor hotel, New York, to offer their sympathy in the sudden death of their son Herbert. Although no definite arrangements for the funeral have been announced, it will probably take place tomorrow from the commissioner's residence, 516 Madison avenue.
