THE BUSHWICK GLASS WORKS are in good working order, the difficulties with the employees being adjusted and everything moving on in a satisfactory manner. Mr. Wm. Brookfield, the proprietor, anticipates a healthy spring trade in his line and has made ample arrangements to meet all the wants of his many customers. The relations between him and his workmen are of such a pleasant nature as to make it extremely unlikely that the future will develop any troubles calculated to impede the operations now being successfully carried on at the works. Mr. Brookfield is a just and conscientious man whose main object is not money-making. He aims to do what is right and proper on all occasions and in him the sober, steady workingman has a true and inflexible friend. |
