William Brookfield and Bushwick Glass Works

Mr. William Brookfield, the proprietor of the Bushwick Glass Works, has three furnaces in operation, and the extent of his business would warrant the starting of an additional furnace were it not that the season is too far advanced for such an experiment. In the ordinary course of affairs the beginning of June will bring about a relaxation in the green glassware business. Mr. Brookfield has quite enough to do to fill orders and is of opinion that the worst is over in his department of the glassware trade.
