R. THOMAS & SONS

The firm existing during the past nine years under the name R. Thomas & Sons, and manufacturing porcelain at East Liverpool, Ohio, has merged into an incorporation which will be known hereafter as the R. Thomas & Sons Co.

This company have recently purchased from the Westinghouse Electric Co. their entire porcelain plant which, with their already large factory, employing over 200 operatives, gives them, it is claimed, the most extensive works in this country making porcelains for electrical purposes a specialty. They have just issued an elaborate catalogue of 45 pages illustrating over 200 designs of porcelain used in the electrical trade, but which does not include one-third the variety they are making. It is very essential that all porcelain for electrical purposes should be very hard and vitreous. The Thomas Co. pride themselves upon making thoroughly non-absorbent goods.
