Chris Cellers Dead.
BROOKLYN, N.Y., April 2. - Chris Cellers died here on March 27 after a short illness. Bro. Cellers was 41 years of age and was a member in good standing of Branch No. 52, of the G. B. B. A. He was well known and learned his trade at Brookfield's glass works. Bro. Cellers leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss. There was a special meeting of the branch held last Saturday night to take action and make final arrangements to attend the funeral in a body. On Saturday the full membership of the branch assembled at the rooms and marched to the house of the deceased. When the funeral started the members of Branch No. 52 and the employees of Brookfield's glass works formed a line of march, led by our manager, F. S. Tomlin, and marched along with the funeral to the outskirts of the city. The following brothers acted as pallbearers: Thomas Dunn, Fred Kretz, Leroy Smith, James Dunn, John Clennen, John Fox, John Ambert, and Robert Miller. - BUSHWICK. |
