Will Close Saturday Night for the

Summer Season.

Hemingray's flint glass works will close Saturday evening for the season. This important industry is the place where so many insulators are made. The workmen in this department claim that they have not had a better season in years but the other departments have not been so successful. The firm has enjoyed an immense business however. The men's wages are governed considerably by the nature of the orders filled week after week. The plant will undergo improvements and repairs. A number of the workmen will spend their vacation at the lakes while others will go east for a few weeks.
