FALLS ON BRICKS,

LACERATES SCALP

David Steins of 731 Hamilton Avenue, a carpenter, fell from a scaffold this morning at the Imperial Porcelain Works to a pile of bricks, a distance of about fifteen feet. He sustained a severe laceration of the scalp and was bruised.

He was picked up by several workmen and removed to McKinley Hospital. It is not thought at the hospital that he is injured internally, and it is expected that he will be able to leave the institution within a week.

Steins was engaged in helping rebuild the plant of the Imperial Porcelain Works, which was destroyed by fire some time ago.
