John T. Mason, receiver of the Baltimore Glass Mfg. Co., has filed a petition in the circuit court, at Towson, Md., asking that William Brookfield be required to pay him $2,500 for the property of the company, which he is alleged to have agreed to purchase, and also for certain expenses incurred by the receiver, since the sale was made, in taking care of the property. It is stated that Mr. Brookfield objects to paying the expenses charged against him for taking care of the property and for litigation growing out of the sale.
