Flint Glass News of Brooklyn.

BROOKKYN, [sic] BROOKLYN, N.Y., Aug. 23 — The outlook for Brooklyn glass factories is not as encouraging as it might be at this time.

The Williamsburg started Aug. 12 making chimneys. They have been going all summer on shades and iron mold work.

Gleason's have been going all summer on shades and iron mold work.

Demuth Bros. Have been going all summer on tubing and iron mold work.

These factories have not made more than half time al summer. The Long Island Flint Glass Works, better known as the Bushwick, started Aug. 23 and though they started with every place filled they, too, complain that orders are not what they should be.

James McCusker, who has worked in the Bushwick factory over 20 years, died very suddenly July 25, and Herman Ricker also died very suddenly Aug. 23, after starting with us in the Bushwick factory.

On his way home from work he was taken with a hemorrhage and died almost before he could be taken to his home. BUSHWICK.
