DISCUSSED THE FUEL PROBLEM.

Flint glass bottle manufacturers of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Indiana met in Indianapolis on Thursday to discuss the fuel problem. The Indiana gas belt factories are handicapped because of the failing supply and the high price of coal following the strike and are unable to fill orders. Western manufacturers whose plants are in the soft coal fields of Indiana and Illinois say they are having a rush of business because of this fact. The meeting was secret and no public statement was made after the meeting adjourned.
