Another California Factory. The May 20th issue of the "Examiner," of Los Angeles, Cal., states that on account of the adaptability of the climate of Southern California to the manufacture of glass, a company has been organized by Los Angeles business men with a view to engaging in the manufacture of insulators, prism sidewalk lights, etc., employment to be given to 150 hands in a plant that it is proposed to erect. Officers of the company are Julius Kaufmann, president; John Morris, treasurer; Stanley S. Stonaker, secretary, and Robert P. Frisk [sic] Frist general manager. |
