Flint Bottle Factories Again in

Operation.

 

The union flint bottle factories which were closed down last week owing to the demand of the A. F. G. W. U. that on and after August 5 all factories operating should concede the workers' demands for increased wages and an 8-hour day are all in operation again, the union having agreed to allow them to operated under last year's wages, rules, and usages until September 15th, by which time it is expected a wage scale for the fire of 1898-'99 will be arranged. By this time it is expected that the trust or syndicate will be doing business.
