Estate Is Expected

Covington officials are awaiting with interest the decision of the Kentucky court of appeals in the suit of the city against Mrs. Mary H. Shinkle and the Shinkle estate to collect tax money al­leged due.

Attorneys Stephens L. Blakely and John H. Klette filed the suit in Kenton circuit court, Nov. 24, 1913. It is alleged that $150,736.25 is the amount due from taxes delinquent in the years 1909 and 1913.

Attorney Shelly R. Rouse is representing the Shinkle in­terests. The case was resubmitted Wednesday to the Appellate court at Frankfort, and judgement is expected at any time.
