THE fears which have been entertained for the safety of Major James L. Foley and two other gentlemen who have been hunting in Arkansas for something over six weeks past are not altogether allayed yet. B. W. Foley, who went to Osceloa in search of the party, has returned and reports that he did not find the hunters, though he came across a man who had seen them back of Osceola two days before. This man was employed by Mr. Foley to convey a note to his brother, but strange enough the messenger has not been heard from since he started on his mission.
