PERU ELECTRIC CO.

SELLS LOCAL PLANT

THE SQUARE D COMPANY BUYS THE

MOECK INTEREST

The Peru Electric works, of which Frank Moeck has been the owner for nearly two years, has changed hands and now the Square D Company, of Detroit, is in charge. The deal was consummated last Monday.

The representatives from the Square D Co., who perfected the deal were Thomas J. Kaufman and W. D. Horton, both of Detroit, and the latter a son-in-law to R. H. Bouslog, of this city. It is understood that the Square D Co. has electric appliance plants in Detroit and Canada, and that the local will be enlarged with an increased force of employes.

R. H. Bouslog will be manager of the plant under the new ownership, but the work will not be new to him as he was manager of this factory for a number of years prior to his resignation to take charge of other manufacturing interests in Oakdale. Lately he managed Chute & Butler Piano Co.'s plant which, very unfortunately, was destroyed by fire only a few months ago. He has also been identified in the management of the Peru Canning Co.'s plant.
