H.L. Dixon's experimental glass plant will be ready for use this week

HAVE MANY CONTRACTS ON HAND.


The H.L. Dixon Co., the tank and furnace builders of Pittsburg, are kept very busy just now with the large number of contracts for repairs and improvements to plants which they have on their hands. The company have a large force of men scattered over the country on repair work alone, beside having many working on the new plants.

Among the plants on which they are working are the following: Carolina Glass Co., Columbia, S.C., enlarging and remodeling tank; Nivison Glass Co., Baltimore, Md., erecting an entirely new plant; Monongah Glass Co., Fairmont, W. Va., a new plant; Standard Co-operative Co., Marion, Ind., changing tanks and lehrs; Heinz Bottle Co., Sharpsburg, Pa., building new tank and overhauling old one; Heisey & Co., Newark, O., new furnace. The experimental glass plant near the Dixon works, Carnegie, Pa., will be completed and ready for use this week.
