Active pallbearers for the funeral of Lewis P. Matthews, 79, of 709 E. High st., were David McGregor, John McGregor, S. O. Nolte, Robert McConnall, Howard B. Noonan, Oscar T. Martin, S. A. Bowman, and Gustavus Foos.

The services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the residence. Burial was in Ferncliff Cemetery. Mr. Matthews, formerly an executive with the Thomas Manufacturing Co., died at 1 p.m. Sunday in the City Hospital.
