HEART ATTACK IS

FATAL TO WOMAN

 

Mrs. Lewis P. Matthews, 67, of 709 E. High st., died unexpectedly in her home at 11 a.m. Monday. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

The former Mabel Thomas, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Thomas, she was married Dec. 5, 1901, in Springfield.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Thomas A., of Chicago; a niece, Mrs. Henry Beckley of Springfield, and two nephews, Thomas B. Summers of Detroit and Daniel B. Summers of Toledo.

The body was taken to Richards Memorial Home.
