PERSONAL. · · One of the prettiest affairs of Easter Monday was the dinner given by Miss Eleanor and Jules Grant to a number of their friends. The color scheme was yellow and was carried out in the decorations which were extremely effective. In the center of the table was a mirror, on which stood a cut-glass vase of yellow flowers, the edge of the mirror was surrounded by the Easter flowers, from which peeped candy chickens. Covers were laid for 10, and at each was a bunch of yellow flowers and quaint name cards in the shape of an egg, on which was standing a fluffy little chick. The guests were Misses Verner Curry, Kearns Worthington, Augusta Clark, Virginia Martin, Messrs. Bradford Shinkle, John Warner, Clark Bayard Thompson, and Geo. Lott. · · |
