New Branch Block The branch cut-out illustrated herewith was especially designed to meet a very important requirement in branch blocks, namely, to avoid the escape of sparks when a fuse blows. The importance of this feature cannot be too strongly emphasized. It means prevention of fires under these circumstances, and the approval of insurance inspectors.
This branch block is made by the Peru Electric Manufacturing Company, Peru, Ind. It is of porcelain, and well designed and constructed. The recesses are large, thus facilitating making the connection and replacing new fuses. The ears on the cover are extra large and fit in corresponding spaces in the base. It is claimed to be one of the best devices on the market, and is meeting with well-deserved favor. |
