A Brooklyn Ball.
BROOKLYN, N.Y., March 10. — The second annual ball of the glassblowers Association employes [sic] employees of the Brookfield Glass Co. occurred at L. A. Phillips Turn Hall, Saturday, March 2. Music by Alberta Orchestra. Mr. Wm. A. Yearicks, chairman and floor manager, and Mr. Thos. Dunn, assistant floor manager, and one of the board. The march was led by Louis Fuchstadt and wife, who were followed by the other members. The ball was very successfull [sic] Successful and a great many more attended than last year. We were very sorry that we could not have Bro. D. A. Hayes with us, for he had to be in Bridgeton. At the close of the ball, Mr. Thos. Dunn and wife danced "The Wearing of the Green." He will be presented with a prize for being a champion dancer. |
