KCGW Resumed operations last night

King City Resumes Operations.

The King City glass works, con­trolled by Wilson & McCulloch, re­sumed operations last night at 5 o'clock with a full force or hands. The starting of this factory will give employment to twenty four blowers outside of the common laborers.

For the last month and a half fire has been burning in the furnace, as the firm was experimenting with the blowing machine at this factory. Although nothing has been said either by the operators or the manager, it is thought the machine did not give satisfaction.

Although fire has not been started in the old Dillon factory, owned by the same firm, the glass workers who are employed at this factory think that work will be commenced before the 15th of October.
