FIRST KILN DRAWN.

Success is Attending the Operation

of Charles Kimble Plant.

The first glost kiln of the Charles Kimble porcelain works, on Chauncey street, is being drawn today. The kiln is fourteen feet six inches across and over 60,000 door knobs were prepared in it. The drawing is being done by seven men and thus far the success has been very gratifying. Refreshments will be served this afternoon and the first drawing will be celebrated with good cheer.

Mr. Kimble is getting the old plant in good running order and will, in a short time, put on more hands. He will then manufacture all kinds of electrical goods.
