Banks re-elect Duggan as a director

BANKS RE-ELECT

DIRECTORS BOARDS

Stockholders of the Mechanics, Broad Street and First National Banks and of the Trenton Banking Company held their annual meeting this morning for the election of directors for the ensuing year.

The stockholders of the Trenton Trust and Safe Deposit Company and of the Mercer Trust Company will meet this afternoon. The stockholders of the Trenton Savings Fund Society will not hold their annual meeting until January 15.

Last year's directors of the Mechanics' National Bank were unanimously re-elected for the ensuing year. They are as follows: Ferdinand W. Roebling, Henry C. Kelsey, Joseph Rice, Governor Edward C. Stokes, Isaac F. Richey, Archibald M. Maddock, Karl G. Roebling, Rudolph V. Kuser. These directors will meet Thursday to select the bank officers.

The stockholders of the Broad Street National Bank also honored the directors of last year by selecting them for another term. The directors follow: O. O. Bowman, William G. Howell, Frank O. Briggs, Benjamin M. Phillips, Richard P. Wilson, A. C. Reeves, Leslie C. Pierson, George Buckman, E. C. Hutchingson, O. D. Wilkinson, Wilber F. Sadler, Jr. Officers will be selected by the directors on Monday.

Another term was also given the directors of the First National Bank. They are as follows: John H. Scudder, William H. Brokaw, William I. Vannest, George M. Comfort, Jonathan H. Blackwell, Watson H. Linburg, Charles B. Case, Arthur D. Forst, Frederic A. Duggan. Organization of the directors will be held tomorrow morning.

The old directors of the Trenton Banking Company were selected to act for another year. They are the following: Joseph H. Bruere, Elmer Ewing Green, Benjamin F. Lee, Henry W. Green, John A. Campbell, Edward S. McIlvane, Foster C. Griffith, Former Mayor Frank S. Katzenbach, Jr., Robert W. Kennedy. The directors will elect officers tomorrow morning.
