Insulating Tubing

In the accompanying illustration are shown several types of tubing made of an insulating material called "boro-porcelain." The tubes vary in length from 3 in. to 7 ft. and are designed for use on high-voltage circuits. The material, the manufacturer claims, has a low electrostatic capacity and high and uniform dielectric strength. Boro-porcelain is also utilized for insulators, as already mentioned in the Electrical World of May 29, 1915, page 1429, and April 3, 1915, page 869. The material is being placed on the market by Fred M. Locke, Victor, N. Y.
