The Bell Creole, Capt. B. J. Rust, bound from St. Louis for Cincinnati, passed up on Thursday night, with a fair trip, including the following merchandise for Cincinnati: — 16 empty carboys, Allen and Co; 110 empty oil bbls., G. W. Donahue and Co.; 75 barrels sand, Gray & Hemmingray; 205 sacks corn, Dubois and Augur. For Louisville — 300 boxes candles.

At the urgent request of Capt. B. J. Rust, the gunboat Lexington followed in the wake of the Belle Creole, guarding her safety to a point one mile above Paducah, where she went on her way to Cincinnati rejoicing — the Lexington returning to Cairo yesterday morning.
