Charles J. Jordan, by Geo. M. Sharp, his attorney, has filed a petition to have a receiver appointed for the Baltimore Glass Mfg. Co. The court has appointed Mr. Sharp receiver, to take charge of the company's property, and a receiver's bond of $20,000 has been filed. It is stated in Mr. Jordan's petition that he is a creditor of the corporation to the amount of $1,400, that he holds $3,900 of its stock, and that the company is unable to continue operations because of insufficient capital. Two of the creditors have already obtained attachments against the company on their claims. The assets consist of leasehold property at Westport, in Baltimore county, with factory, plant and book accounts.
