John P. Ernst, of Covington Trust

Company, Receiver.

 

Martin M. Durrett, of Covington, referee in bankruptcy for the Northern Kentucky District, Saturday ordered Sheriff Boske to turn all of the property of James M. Rude over to John P. Ernst, receiver.

The order was complied with at once and Mr. Ernst assumed charge.

The plant is one of the finest equipped of its kind in the West, and it is Mr. Ernst's intention to resume operations just as soon as he can get matters in shape.

Nearly 200 employees will return to work within a few days.

Rude was arrested in Cincinnati Friday on a charge of fraud, preferred by the J. Weller Co. Rude made a complete denial.
