The Cooking Club.

The Nonpareil cooking club met last evening at the home of Miss Fannie Shipley on east Adams street and the members were most delightfully entertained. A long table occupied almost the full length of the east parlor and was ladened with the choicest of viands and delicacies of the season, of which all heartily partook.

After the supper progressive euchre was indulged in until a late hour. Mrs. Rob Hemingray getting the ladies' first prize, Mrs. Carl Spilker the booby, and J. O. Adams the gent's first prize and Chas. Anthony the booby. The prizes were handsome and costly and highly appreciated by the lucky ones.
