Enlarging Their Plant
A lease was recorded yesterday with the County whereby the James M. Rude Can Manufacturing Company acquires the entire property of the Hemingray Glass Works plant at Second and Madison. This will allow an enlargement of the Rude plant and it will employ 250 men. The tin used in the plant is made at the Licking Rolling Mill and the major portion of the cans made are used by the I. Welles Canning Company, showing the advantages this city has for manufacturing concerns. |
