Prepared for Fire.
C. H. Over and R. Hemingray & Co. have prepared to protect their newly erected factory buildings should they again be visited by fire. They have purchased 1,000 feet of fire hose, which they can attach to the hydrant at the corner of Merryweather and Macedonia avenues. The hose have the regulation couplings used by the department. The Indiana Iron works, Pulp mill and several other large industries have their own hose and many other factories will follow their example.
