The Over and Hemingray factories, of Muncie, Ind., have supplied themselves with 500 feet of hose, and since the water mains have been laid from the city proper out to the works there will scarcely be any chance for another conflagration like that which wiped out the plants in June. — Pittsburgh Commoner and Glass Worker.
