A Grand Time.
Fred Rose, son of T. F. Rose and wife, entertained a number of his young friends yesterday afternoon from four until seven in honor of his tenth birthday. The event was termed a "soap bubble" party and was of the most delightful juvenile events of the season. Each guest was furnished a bran [sic] brand new pipe and bubbles large and small were blown by the thousands. Dainty refreshments were served. The little ones were presented with pretty souvenirs of the occasion, consisting of small bronzed buckets, kettles, pans, etc. The "blowers" invited were: Frank and Carl Shirk, John and Julius Kirby, Walter and Florence Gregory, Earl and Nellie McClung, Fred and Isabella Preston, Oscar and Madaline Vider, Conn and Ashley Hemingray, Arthur Patterson Charley Streeter, Bob Johnson, Earl Williams, Myron Gray, Bobbie Bradbury, Wysor Marsh, David Cane, Earl Meeks, Clauda McElwee, Hudle Smith, Lillie Sheffelbarger, Sarah Wysor, Florence Ream, Paul Richey, Rex Kelly, Stanhope Hays, Eben King, Margaret Olcott, Charlotte Bishop, Mary Willard, Amy Shaw, Emily Howe, Grace Johnson, Mamie Johnson, Louise Fhinney, Styles Donaphin, John Harris, Lena Wylie, Ruth Fowler, Herbert and Earnest Halliday. |
