Country Club Meeting.
At the meeting held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rush E. Evans last evening the Country Club project was furthered by the election of officers. As soon as a complete organization of the club has been made there will be an expert from Chicago who will lay out the golf links and give instructions in playing the game to members of the club. Eighty shares of stock are yet to be disposed of, but it is thought these will be sold without difficulty. The plans for the club house have been submitted. The directors selected at last night's meeting are: Edward Olcott, R. E. Evans, George Ball, Frank Kimbrough, and R. E. Walker. The committee on rules and regulations consists of James Bingham, J. R. Marsh, Edward Ethell, Mrs. R. E. Evans, and Miss Carroll Hemingray.
