FRANK BROOKFIELD.

 

Retired Lawyer Served in War as a Captain in the A. E. F.

 

Frank Brookfield, retired lawyer, died yesterday at his home, 116 East Sixty-third Street, after a long illness. He was 64 years old.

Mr. Brookfield was born here, was graduated from Yale in 1897 and received his LL. B. Degree from the New York Law School in 1900. He was for some years with the law firm of Alexander & Green here and later served as vice president and treasurer of the Brookfield Glass Company, Old Bridge, N.J.

Mr. Brookfield served as a captain in the A. E. F. during the World War, being attached to the ammunitions supply in France. He retired from his law practice during the war. He was a former secretary of the old New York Republican Club and a member of the Republican State Committee.

He leaves a widow, Mrs. Marceline Dunning Brookfield; a son, Frank Morgan Brookfield; a daughter, Mrs. Kate Brookfield Wyckoff, and a brother, Henry M. Brookfield.
