The year closed with the Thomas China Co. full of business. They have had a wonderful trade on a new pottery in its first year. They set out to make only the very highest grade of semi-vitreous porcelain. Their ware was such in its substantial qualities — excellence of body, gracefulness of shapes, artistic in its finish and decorations — tthat dealers took to it to a degree that their plant has been compelled to push its full six-kiln capacity to meet the situation since last June. They enter the new year excellently equipped for successful business.
