Dinner Affair

Miss Isabel Bartow Mackoy, daughter of Mr. Harry Brent Mackoy, was the lovely guest-of-honor at a handsome dinner, Saturday evening at the Town Club, for which Miss Llewellyn Hemingray, of Covington, and Mr. and Mrs. Polk Laffoon, Turkey Foot road, Ft. Mitchell, combined forces.

The co-hostesses, host and lovely honoree received in the club's spacious lounge, which was decked with seasonal wreaths of holly, embellished with scarlet ribbon, and with ropes of seasonal greens.

Miss Mackoy was in a delicate blue crepe gown, fashioned with a fitted bodice and long sleeves and a rounded neckline, which was outlined with gold sequins. A shirring outlined the front of the waistline.

Green and white provided the motif for the dinner tables, which bore white Santa Claus figures and Christmas greens surrounded by weaths [sic] wreaths formed of candles.

Enjoying this delightful event wore the following: Miss Mackoy, Misses Sue Allen, Betty Balch, Ann Brown, Mathilde Biddle, Ann Ellis, Barbara Thornton, Betty Freyhof, Amey Geier, Jean Hook, Margaret Beard, Margaret and Marion Kittredge, Mary LeBlond, Frances Harrison, Miriam Tate Houston, Mary Stevenson, Jane Thompson, Virginia Epson, Eleanor Wright, Dorothy Whittaker and Marjorie Wood.
