California Factory Talked of.

Towards the end of last year S. S. Stonaker, formerly a New Jersey glass manufacturer, went to Long Beach, Cal., where he organized the California Glass Insulator Co., whose factory is now nearing completion, the expectation being to have it in operation by the middle of next month, or shortly thereafter. A couple of weeks ago Mr. Stonaker had as his guests George S. Bacon of the Whitall-Tatum Co., Millville, N.J., and Frank J. Cox, of the Cox & Sons Co., Bridgeton. According to the "Telegram" of Long Beach, issue of February 10th, the purpose of the visit of the eastern people was to investigate conditions in the California city with a view to locating a branch of the Whitall-Tatum Co. at that place. It is further stated that Messrs. Bacon and Cox left for the east favorably impressed by their investigations.
